Why we drink

Community Partners

Local organizations we believe in and support by helping to raise funds and awareness.

Housing Opportunities for Musicians and Entertainers (HOME) campaign

Housing Opportunities for Musicians and Entertainers (HOME)

HOME was formed by a group of concerned women in Austin, Texas, to provide financial housing assistance for aging musicians in need. All proceeds from The Addison Squared Jersey went directly to HOME. The first round of sales raised $1,500.

The Other Ones Foundation campaign

The Other Ones Foundation

TOOF was born out of a desire to find new approaches to serving Austin's homeless community, offering humanitarian aid, case management, and low-barrier employment since 2018. All proceeds from The Spread Verde scarf and fans campaigns went directly to TOOF.

Community First! Village campaign

Community First! Village

A 51-acre master-planned development providing affordable, permanent housing and a supportive community for men and women coming out of chronic homelessness. Thanks to your help we donated $3,000 directly to Community First! Village in honor of Austin legend Leslie Cochran.

Equality Texas campaign

Equality Texas

Equality Texas envisions a Texas where lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer Texans and their families have full equality in the hearts and minds of our fellow Texans and in all areas of the law. 100% of raffle ticket proceeds will be donated to Equality Texas in honor of Leslie Cochran and Austin Pride Month 2026.

The Laundry Project campaign

The Laundry Project

Our first foray into supporting local organizations was a donation drive for The Laundry Project. We loved teaming up with Brad "Stonewall" Stuver and Current Initiatives so much we've made it an annual thing. The Laundry Project assists lower-income families with a basic need, washing clothes and linens, by turning laundromats into community centers of hope. This past year we helped fund the Butler Pitch and Putt event, and we look forward to continuing our involvement with The Stuvers and The Laundry Project.

Explore Austin campaign

Explore Austin

The Fighting Leslies are proud to have been silver sponsors two years in a row at an annual fundraising event for Explore Austin. Explore Austin empowers youth through adventure, a 100% free, six-year program serving youth from economically disadvantaged communities. Explorers begin in the sixth grade and volunteer Mentors stay with them through high school graduation and beyond, into their adult lives.
